To empower vulnerable communities through inclusive programs that strengthen livelihoods, improve access to essential services, promote climate resilience and foster peace and social cohesion.

Who We are

Society for Social Transformation (SST) is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization working to support vulnerable communities across Pakistan. Established in 2023, SST builds upon more than a decade of professional experience in humanitarian response and development programming.


SST primarily operates and working in underserved and disaster-prone areas where communities face poverty, climate risks, and limited access to services.

Our Programs

Humanitarian Response 

SST supports communities affected by floods, displacement, and emergencies through rapid, needs-based interventions. Our humanitarian approach prioritizes dignity, inclusion, and accountability to affected populations while linking immediate relief with early recovery.

Livelihoods 

SST works to strengthen household resilience by improving access to sustainable income opportunities. Through agriculture, livestock, and skills development, we support communities, especially women and youth, to build practical pathways toward economic stability.

WASH

SST promotes safe water access, improved sanitation, and hygiene practices in underserved and vulnerable communities. Our interventions focus on practical solutions that improve health outcomes and community well-being.

Climate Resilience 

SST integrates climate resilience and disaster risk reduction into its programming to help communities better prepare for and respond to environmental challenges. Our work supports local capacity to reduce risks and adapt to changing conditions.

Governance

SST promotes inclusive governance, community participation, and local problem-solving. We support stronger community institutions and encourage constructive engagement between communities and local stakeholders.

Youth Development 

SST invests in young people as drivers of positive change by supporting education, skills development, and employability pathways. Our programs aim to enhance opportunities for youth participation and long-term social and economic mobility.
